My name is Ashley Miller and I’m the CEO of One Clean Mom Cleaning and Organizing LLC, a cleaning company that that was born out of grassroots. In 2008 in Atlanta GA, I was given opportunity to clean a friend’s home, which sparked the birth of this company. I loved the work, the income and flexibility so I jumped on the internet, put up ads for my service & immediately had a business going. The work was excellent for a full time mother & helped my family survive the housing market crash that very year. To go from zero income to providing for my family was very fulfilling & immediately I knew I had found my niche, my passion and my way.
When my family and I moved to Lakeland, Florida in 2009 my business also moved with me. I started out only providing cleaning services to residential clients, however after seeing the need for trustworthy, dependable and fair-priced commercial cleaning services, I chose to expand into that area as well. Soon I branched out into all areas including move out cleans, remodel and construction cleans, listing cleans, weekly office cleans, commercial new construction & a variety of other cleaning opportunities.
Quickly, I discovered that there were more clients than I could handle on my own! So I began to hire friends that could help me and eventually found myself with a staff of 12 women just as committed to providing excellence in the field as I was. Each of these women was hand picked by myself because of their ambition and work ethic, and then each was trained to my personal standards. Once I began hiring I discovered my true passion: inspiring other women to want for a better life by showing them the opportunity and helping them learn how to achieve their goals. I keep that passion at the forefront of my business by paying 75% more than most other cleaning companies. We are building a community of well-paid individuals, who love their jobs & it shows! I am so thankful & proud of our team!
Not only does my team provide a detailed cleaning each visit but we do it with an energetic step and a positive outlook! Each situation is different & we strive to meet the needs of each individual client by catering a plan to each client’s specific needs & budget. We have flat rates and hourly options to help meet the needs of all potential clients. We also provide organizing services, with or without side-by-side client help. We aim to relieve stress & we love dirty houses, so don’t fret. Your mess is our job security and if you haven’t figured it out yet: we love our job! One Clean Mom believes communication is the key ingredient to any relationship. That being said, we love constructive feedback, and will always take it with a smile & possible solution.
When I started this company as a stay at home mom, I had no idea that the opportunity to clean for a friend would grow into what the company has become today: a company that empowers other women. As we continue to grow and strive for excellence in all areas my inspiration that started it all will always be kept at the heart of what we do.
